This type of visa is issued to foreign nationals who wish to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for tourism purposes. It allows the visa holder either a single entry or multiple entries into Thailand, with a maximum stay of 60 days per entry.

Dieser Visumtyp wird für ausländische Staatsangehörige ausgestellt, die zu touristischen Zwecken in das Königreich Thailand einreisen wollen. Damit wird dem Visumempfänger entweder die einmalige Einreise oder die mehrfachen Einreisen nach Thailand gestattet, mit einem Aufenthalt von maximal 60 Tagen pro Einreise.

* After successful completion of the upload, your biographic information will be populated in the corresponding fields of the application. Please correct / edit your personal information if the data is incorrect.
Make sure that your personal details in the relevant fields of the e-visa application are correct: first name, other first names, family name, date of birth, nationality, passport validity and passport number. Otherwise, your application will be rejected and the fee will not be refunded.

* If you are not booking the hotel yourself, you must provide proof that the person named on the hotel booking is traveling with you by including that person’s passport with the hotel reservation.
* Wenn Sie Ihr Hotel nicht selbst buchen, müssen Sie nachweisen, dass die Person, die auf der Hotelbuchungsbestätigung steht, mit Ihnen reist, indem Sie den Reisepass der Person bei der Hotelbuchung hinzufügen.
* For minors, proof of a parent’s hotel booking confirmation must be uploaded.
* Für Minderjährige muss ein Nachweis über die Hotelbuchungsbestätigung eines Elternteils hochgeladen werden.
Financial evidence: an amount of no less than 20,000 THB (e.g., bank statements for the last three months, sponsor letter)
Finanzieller Nachweis: ein Betrag von mindestens 20.000 THB (z.B. Kontoauszüge der letzten drei Monate, Verpflichtungserklärung)

• If the required documents (according to the type of visa) are complete, you will receive the result of the application within 15 consular days from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Frankfurt am Main. The visa application will only be processed in the order in which the application is received. Please plan in advance. → Public Holidays of the Consulate-General
Wenn die erforderlichen Unterlagen (nach Art des Visums) vollständig sind, erhalten Sie das Ergebnis des Antrags innerhalb von 15 Konsulatstage des Königlich Thailändischen Generalkonsulats in Frankfurt am Main. • The visa application is possible at the earliest 90 days before the start of the trip to Thailand, as the single-entry visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. If a visa application is submitted earlier than the stated 90 days and the visa expires before entry into Thailand, the Consulate-General will not refund the fee and a new visa must be applied for.
Die Beantragung des Visums ist frühestens 90 Tage vor Beginn der Reise nach Thailand möglich, da das Visum für eine einmalige Einreise für 90 Tage ab dem Ausstellungsdatum gültig ist. Wird ein Visumantrag früher als die genannten 90 Tage eingereicht und läuft somit die Gültigkeit des Visums vor der Einreise nach Thailand ab, erstattet das Generalkonsulat die Gebühr nicht und es muss ein neues Visum beantragt werden.

• After entering Thailand: Extension of stay (once, for 30 days) can be applied for at the Immigration Bureau in Thailand.
Nach der Einreise in Thailand: Die Verlängerung des Aufenthaltes (einmal um 30 Tage) kann beim Immigrationsbüro (Immigration Bureau) in Thailand beantragt werden.

• Employment in Thailand is prohibited with this visa.
Arbeiten in Thailand ist mit diesem Visum verboten.

• The Consulate-General reserves the right to request additional documents or invite the applicant for an interview if necessary.
Das Generalkonsulat behält sich das Recht vor, bei Bedarf zusätzlich Dokumente anzufordern bzw. den Antragsteller auf einem Vorstellungsgespräch einzuladen.
