2. Dokument, das den aktuellen Standort angibt
- Für deutsche Staatsangehörige: Vorder- und Rückseite des Personalausweises oder Meldebescheinigung in Deutschland (nicht älter als 6 Monate)
- Für Staatsangehörige eines EU-/EWR-Staates oder der Schweiz: Meldebescheinigung in Deutschland (nicht älter als 6 Monate)
- Für andere Staatsangehörige: Vorder- und Rückseite der Aufenthaltstitel-Karte und Meldebescheinigung in Deutschland (nicht älter als 6 Monate)

3. Biometrisches Passfoto, das in den letzten sechs Monaten aufgenommen wurde, in angemessener Kleidung und ohne Brille

4. Bei Antragstellern unter 18 Jahren: Geburtsurkunde (farbig); falls nicht mit beiden Elternteilen gemeinsam beantragt, Passkopien beider Elternteile

Erstellen Sie das Benutzerkonto mit einer E-Mail-Adresse ohne Bindestrich.
Geben Sie alle Angaben auf der E-Visa-Website auf Englisch ein, ohne automatische Browser-Übersetzung zu nutzen.
Achten Sie besonders auf Vorname, zweiter Vorname, Nachname, Geburtsdatum sowie Reisepassnummer und -gültigkeit, diese müssen exakt mit dem Reisepass übereinstimmen.
Enthält ein Name einen Bindestrich (z.B. "Anna-Lena Meier-Lehmann"), muss dieser mit angegeben werden.
Hochgeladene Dokumente (Kontoauszüge, Flugbuchungen, Hotelbuchungen) müssen den Namen des Antragstellers deutlich zeigen; Screenshots werden nicht akzeptiert.

Nach der Antragstellung

Die Bearbeitung erfolgt in der Reihenfolge der Antragstellung, nach Datum und Uhrzeit der Gebührenzahlung, nicht nach Dringlichkeit.
Fordert das Generalkonsulat zusätzliche Dokumente an, beginnt eine weitere Frist von 15 Werktagen ab vollständigem Eingang dieser Unterlagen.
Antragsteller müssen sich während der Bearbeitungszeit in Deutschland aufhalten, da in einigen Fällen ein persönliches Interview erforderlich sein kann.
Das Visum muss vor Reiseantritt ausgestellt sein und dem Zweck der Reise entsprechen.
Statusanfragen: ausschließlich per E-Mail an [email protected], mit vollständigem Namen, Reisepassnummer und Referenznummer, von der bei der Registrierung verwendeten E-Mail-Adresse. Keine Auskünfte per Telefon oder Facebook-Messenger.

- May be submitted as early as 90 days before arrival. Fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
- After payment, no changes or corrections are possible. If information is incorrect, a new application and new payment are required.
- Processing time: 15 working days from payment, regardless of travel urgency.
- On a German passport, the number contains zero (0), not the letter O.

2. Document indicating your current location
- German nationals: front and back of the national ID card or proof of registration in Germany (not older than 6 months)
- Nationals of an EU/EEA member state or Switzerland: proof of registration in Germany (not older than 6 months)
- Other nationals: front and back of the residence permit card and proof of registration in Germany (not older than 6 months)

3. Biometric photo taken within the last six months, in appropriate clothing and without glasses

4. For applicants under 18: color-scanned birth certificate; if not applying with both parents, bio-data pages of both parents' passports

Create your account using an email address without a hyphen.
Fill in all information in English on the e-Visa website without using the browser's automatic translation.
Take particular care with first name, middle name, last name, date of birth, and passport number/validity, these must exactly match the passport.
If any part of the name contains a hyphen (e.g. "Anna-Lena Meier-Lehmann"), it must be included as written.
Uploaded documents (bank statements, flight bookings, hotel bookings) must clearly show the applicant's name; screenshots are not accepted.

After applying

Applications are processed in chronological order based on the date and time of fee payment, not by urgency.
If the Consulate-General requests additional documents, a further 15 working days apply from the date all requested documents are received in full.
Applicants should remain in Germany during processing, as an in-person interview may be required in some cases.
The visa must be issued before travel and must match the purpose of the visit.
Status inquiries: by email only, to [email protected], including full name, passport number, and reference number, sent from the email used to register. No information is given by phone or Facebook Messenger.
